CMC Edwards
The Eagle County Housing and Development Authority (ECHDA) and Colorado Mountain College (CMC) have partnered to construct 72 new housing units centrally located in Eagle County at the CMC Edwards Campus. The project comprises two identical apartment buildings, with CMC financing Building 1 and ECHDA financing Building 2. Each building includes 36 newly constructed studio and two-bedroom apartments intended for CMC college students, faculty, staff, and the Eagle County workforce.
The property's central location within Eagle County and its position on the CMC Edwards Campus make it exceptionally convenient for residents to access the ECO Transit bus route, Battle Mountain High School, Freedom Park, and Edwards Field House. Additionally, it provides easy access to nearby schools, childcare services, dining options, shops, biking and hiking trails, and world-class skiing.
Building 1, officially named 160 Miller Ranch Road Apartments, was completed and placed in service in August 2023. It is currently fully occupied by CMC students, faculty, and staff. To determine eligibility and submit a housing application, please refer to CMC's Preferred Qualifying Criteria and visit the Colorado Mountain College - Housing Initiative website.
Building 2, officially named 162 Miller Ranch Road Apartments, is set to open on January 22, 2024. This building is available to applicants who meet the criteria for Eligible Households as outlined in the Eagle County Affordable Housing Guidelines: Administrative Procedures. For more information, please visit the official 162 Miller Ranch Road Apartments website.
