6 West apartment building with balconies

6 WEST APARTMENTS
Edwards, Colorado

Gore Creek Partners, a private equity firm, constructed a 120-unit apartment complex with the support of Eagle County, which provided essential water rights early in development. This was in exchange for a low or no interest repayment on the water rights' value, inclusion of resident-occupied deed restrictions, and water efficiency measures within the project. Furthermore, Housing Eagle County and the Town of Vail acquired additional resident-occupied deed restrictions, ensuring all units at 6 West are reserved for individuals working in the Town of Vail or Eagle County.
