Emergency Assistance
Mortgage Assistance Support
If you need assistance with your mortgage, we recommend contacting your mortgage company to inquire about loss mitigation or loan modification options.
You may also find it helpful to consult with a HUD-approved Housing Counselor. These counselors are specially trained and certified by the government to help you assess your financial situation, explore options for managing your mortgage payments, and create an assistance plan. To find the nearest HUD-approved housing counseling agency, visit the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development website or call 1-800-569-4287.
Emergency Rental Assistance Program
The Department of Local Affairs has emergency rental assistance funding for Coloradans who have fallen behind on their rent, meet income limits and other qualifying factors, and are at risk of eviction or displacement. The random selection will be open to all Coloradans and those facing eviction will continue to be prioritized.
